Episode 2: The Awakening
In a Western MA hospital, Romel opens her eyes. Shanice is there with Malcolm. The doctor pulls Malcolm aside to tell him although Romel's eyes are open, he doesn't think she is responsive.
In Crow's Point in Pheasant Hill, MA, Kyla rushes over to Jadon. Colin asks what happened. At first she says nothing, but Alura walks over to her and says "Lycanthrope. You're a werewolf." Colin is shocked. Alura tells Colin to grab Jadon as she scoops up Kyla.
In her brownstone, Alura tells Colin, Kyla, and Jadon that she's a Vampire Slayer. Colin tells them that they'll explain later. Alura goes to a secret drawer in her shelves and pulls out The Book of Nod. She tells them that this is the Holy Bible for demons. It has everything from werewolves, demons, and witchcraft. Jadon asks about The Book of Spells. Alura tells him that no witch or warlock has ever been able to find it, but he or she who possesses it will have untold power.
In Dru's penthouse, Connor sits in an arm chair laughing. An agitated Dru asks him what's so funny; he tells her that they just had their asses handed to them by a small warlock and a werewolf. He thinks they won't fair too well against a slayer especially a powerful one. Dru promises that "she's a slayer who doesn't know her true potential."
In Alura's brownstone, she states "I think I now know my true potential. I must defeat this evil with both of your help." Colin's demeanor changes, and he claps stating "Finally." She mentions that's the second time he said that. Colin tells her that he is a Watcher with the Watchers Council sent to Pheasant Hill to help Alura; Alura punches Colin in the face. Colin winces in pain with Kyla rushing over to him. Jadon asks why she did that. Alura yells that all this time Colin knew Alura was a slayer and his kids were supernaturals. Colin admits that he had no idea his children were supernaturals. Kyla asks why Colin just didn't simply tell Alura the truth. Colin tells them that Alura had to see her true potential on her own. Alura tells Kyla, Jadon, and Colin to get out. Colin tells her that everything's going to be okay, but she orders them to get out. Outside Colin makes a phone call.
At Dru's penthouse, there's a knock at the door. Dru answers it to see Santi walk in. He tells Dru that she and Connor should vacate Pheasant Hill altogether because the slayer has been activated. Dru laughs until she sees Santi is serious. She goes to lunge at Santi, but Connor puts out his hands and freezes her. He walks over to her in a state of suspension and pushes her frozen body aside. He tells Santi how annoying her dramatics have become. Santi warns Connor that staying in Pheasant Hill could ruin any plans they both have including roaming the Earth. "This slayer is more powerful than any other." Connor smiles and says "We'll see." He snaps his fingers, and Dru is turned into dust. He sits down on the couch and puts his feet up. "Now get out." He waves his hand, and Santi is pushed back into the hallway with the door closing in his face. "I think I'm going to like it here."

Her memory flashes before her as she sees herself being thrown backwards out of a window with Alura there. "Alura."
